How can you Go Out, Get Drunk and Not Get with People?

As some of you may know I am in a long-distance relationship with my boyfriend, as we both attend different universities.
People often ask me; how can you go out and not get with people? My answer is simple, I just don't aha.
 Sunglasses            Primark £2
 Tights                    Primark £2
 Necklace               Homemade
 Tee                        H&M (mens) £3.99
 Pinafore Dress      Urban Oufitters £49.99
 Reebok Classics    Schuh £55
 Bag                        Asos (similar)

I’ve never really got the urge or ever thought about getting with anyone, I think that’s probably when you know you’re in the right relationship or certainly happy in it. I guess if you’re thinking about getting with other people or if you are, it’s most likely that you aren’t 100% happy in your relationship or just not in the right one for you.
I guess because I’ve been there and done that (before I was in a relationship.) Not sleeping with lots of guys, just getting with (meaning a bit of a snog) people most weekends, being young and having fun. Sounds slightly bad aha but I use to get drunk several times a week, because why not? School was stressful! So, I feel satisfied I’ve got out there and experienced some life.

 (Forever have my eyes closed)

Don’t get me wrong I still get drunk now. However, I do know I’m different when I’m drunk, a little crazy is an understatement and I’m not saying that’s bad. Just when I’m drunk I’ll say yes to anything! Not to cheating as I’ve never done that or thought about it, like I said. Just anything my friends say when I’m drunk I’m doing, even if it means walking to a club in the middle of the night in central Birmingham with strangers. Yes, very stupid! Never do that, it wasn’t worth saving a couple of pounds on the taxi as I mostly sobered up and was freezing cold by the time I got there. (Hoping my parents never read this aha)

Or the time I got in the taxi with a group of people and travelled 6 miles away with no money or phone. Worried we wouldn’t be able to pay for the taxi, I convinced everyone to get out and walk the next couple of miles at 4am in the middle of the main road. Just to get to Mc Donald’s when none of us bought any food, we had no way of getting home (thinking we’ll be stuck at Mc Donald’s all night) with some guys I had just met that night. It was quite ridiculous, however I did meet the boyfriend I am with today that night. Whilst he was dressed as a green crayon, but that’s another story!

I guess if your reading this, go out a fair few times a week, and are in a relationship you understand. If anyone makes a move on you, your instant reaction is just no. For sure when I’m in a club, I can seem proper bitchy whenever a guy comes up to me; asking to buy me a drink or to go outside to talk. As I’m giving them the evils and walking away. Yes, it can be a little harsh but I’m drunk and out to have a little dance with my friends. Of course it’s making a snap judgement that, oh a guy wants to get with me if he’s trying to talk to me. That may not be the end objective but he’s certainly not interested in just being my friend, so why bother getting deep into a conversation that you can’t walk away from? Whilst trying to hint to a friend to get you out of there and him booking the Uber thinking it’s on… like Nooo. It’s better for me to be harsh straight away as when I get talking to someone I find it so hard to just walk away seeming impolite. Obviously when I’m dancing and a guy tries to grab me, I’m walking in the opposite direction. Or my friend moves in the way to block me aha, and I’m there ready to be the wing woman like look at her and how hot she is.

It also takes trust, as I know when I’m out I’m doing all things right and never thinking about doing anything. However, on the other end is your partner and for sure you need to let him trust you and most importantly never give him anything to worry about. As when I’m sat at home, I don’t want to be worrying about my boyfriend going on a night out, so it does take trust. Especially in a long-distance relationship when you don’t want someone lying through text and they’re not coming home to you at the end of the night. You just want to know your partners getting really drunk, having fun with his group whilst dancing and doing slut drops (yes, my boyfriend slut drops, where’s the crying face emoji?) Leaving the club with his friends, stopping off at Mc Donald’s (that isn’t miles away) and in bed safe and sound.

(My hands in my pocket, not my stomach aha)

  2. All the outfits are mega cute, like the purse a lot. I personally don't go out a lot just cause I don't drink anymore. I still understand what you are saying though.

  5. It's a little difficult to fully understand your situation as I have never been in a long-distance relationship. However, the principles of fidelity are still the same as if he is living around the corner from you. Love the outfit and accessories and the price is really very reasonable as well.

  7. Great outfit. I was in a long distance relationship with my now wife. It was very difficult being apart. We never lived in the same town, but found a way to see each other once a month. It takes a huge commitment to each other to remain faithful.

  10. The slut drops comment cracked me up! Trust was something I always struggled with until I met my husband. And then it just felt right and I knew I could trust him. I think the fact that you are so trusting of him is a good sign of the health of your relationship!

    1. Ahah i know, he had a few comments about me putting that in! That is probably how you know it is right and meant to be, defiantly any drama and no trust will only make relationships harder on each other! Thank you x
